Please Help!!!

I need some help in finding a quality toy train for Santa to bring to Sydney this Christmas. All she says she wants for Christmas is... "a train where the kids get out". Is there such toy out there for an almost 3 year old. I found a "Little People" train set but it almost seems too young for her. Are those wooden train sets fun/worth getting? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

**UPDATE**

False alarm. Sydney had been asking for "a train where the kids get off " all day, everyday for about a week straight. Now (just within the last 10 minutes) she's back to wanting a pink computer. Ahh!!! Kids can be so stressful sometimes. She's probably too young to realize Santa didn't bring her what she asked for anyways. Well, maybe not. The nice thing about her changing her mind is, I don't have to track down one of those Geo Trax sets. They are sold out everywhere, even online.

Hey Heather, I'm not sure if you're meaning a train where she rides in it, or one she plays with.... BUT, if you're looking for a little toy train, I would 100% recommend the "GeoTrax" trains!! Drew has a couple of the sets, and they are awesome!! They are very durable, easy for little kids like Drew and Sydney to play with, and super fun! Drew will play with his more than any other toy... the trains come with remotes, so the kids can make it go forward, backward, stop. You can set up the track however you want, and they come with little people to put in them. Drew's even came with a movie that has the same train and little people as the toy. It's great!!! We love GeoTrax!! Good luck!

Yeah, I'm thinking of one she plays with, not the kind you ride (those are huge! :). Thanks so much! I'll go take a look at those.

Ahhh! I was going to tell you about the Geo Trax sets, but it looks like you can just focus on the pink computer. Check Ebay, and if she changes her mind again just resell it!

I remember doing this to my parents, and my mom would get so frustrated she finally banned Christmas Lists! Now that I'm a mom it doesn't seem like such a bad idea. Ha!

Hi Heather- I saw a few amazing ones at Walmart- over on the aisle by the picture printers. Hope you can find a good one!

If you still decide to get her a train, we got Carter's at Ikea last year and he still loves it and Sydney does too when she comes over. It's just a basic wooden one, but it's super cheap and really cute.

My boys LOVE the wooden Thomas Trains, but they are really expensive. The pink computer would probably be just as fun. Nicholas got his first toy computer when he was almost 3, and it was all he played with for weeks!

Hey, if you still want Geo Trax, I found ours on KSL. My sister bought one 2 years ago and it has been the hit for old and young ever since.

But pink computers are nice too... :)

hey heather, just stick with the computer no matter what. Syd can come down and play with Ezra's tracks whenever. He will be getting on e for christmas as you are well aware. then you can she if she really did want one then you can get it for her birthday, maybe. Just and idea.
