Sydney had her first visit with the dentist on Wednesday, and WOW was she brave!
On Monday I started prepping her for the big day. We talked about how she would need to open her mouth really big when the dentist asked. And that the dentist would then put his fingers in her mouth to make sure her teeth were white and clean. After our little pep talk, I found Sydney in the other room with her fingers in Zoe's mouth. I asked her what she was doing, and she told me she was checking Zoe's teeth :) So cute!
Anyway, Wednesday came and we went to the dentist. Sydney didn't open her mouth quite as big as during our practice, but she did enough for the dentist to get his tools in. Then came time for the polishing, and she did wonderfully. I think she liked the taste of the polish. When she was all done, they gave her a pink balloon, a new "Winnie the Pooh" toothbrush, and a green and blue bouncy ball. Nick and I are so proud of her. It turned out to be a great dentist experience.

Good job Sydney!! What a cute little girl. I guess I should take Carter to the dentist but I have a feeling he won't be nearly as brave:)!
I can't believe they are old enough to go to the dentist! It scares me sometimes how fast they are growing up! That's awesome that she did so well. I don't think Cameron would take a stranger touching him period! Boy am I in for a treat when I take Cam in...Nice work Sydney!!
